Governance

Pakuranga Counselling Centre has been operating in Auckland since June 1994 under the umbrella of a charitable trust. The centre is governed by a board of trustees who offer a wide variety of skills, experience and knowledge.

The Board meets on a regular basis to provide strategic direction for the organisation and oversee its operations. The centre operates within a budget approved and closely monitored by the board, and the trust's financial statements are audited annually.

Our Supporters

We could not offer our affordable counselling service in Auckland without the generous support of our funders. We are extremely grateful to government agencies, philanthropic trusts, churches and other donations which enable us to provide our professional and affordable service to the community.

The center has successfully achieved the rigorous standards of approval as a Community Service under section S.403 of the New Zealand Children, Young Persons and Their Families Act 1989. It maintains a Ministry of Social Development - Child, Youth and Family Contract.
