Hi , I’m Elliott Cambourn.

With time, I became increasingly aware of how much mental health shapes our lives. Seeing the impacts of our attitudes, hopes, history, and beliefs is what led me into counselling. I wanted to support people towards the healthier lives they seek.

I work from a relational and eclectic person-centred base. In the room I also draw on aspects of IFS, CBT, Transactional Analysis, EFT and Sand Tray work. When you are working with me, it is imperative that you feel listened to and safe to explore. I am adaptable in how I work — if you are seeking to understand a situation, need an empathic witness, are at a crossroads or feel like you are unable to break a pattern, we will work through this together, at your pace.

I have a deep curiosity in understanding how the world and the people in it work. Outside of counselling, that shows up as a keen interest in geopolitics, cooking, apologetics, and photography. I like to get an informed view from many perspectives, to understand what makes people tick and what gives them drive and purpose, and I bring that same curiosity into my work to help you get in touch with your authentic self.
